David Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and
Communication from Houghton College, Houghton, NY; and, with a
Masters of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Following his
graduation, he received a call at Holy Trinity Evangelical Church, E.
Pittsburgh, PA, where he has served as senior pastor since 1990. In that
time, he has started Kidz' Club (a summer Bible Club for youth); the
summer lunch program (which feeds 100 youth breakfast and lunch
daily); Skills for Life for Youth (an after school program); the Service of
Joy! (a contemporary service reaching families with children); Kidz'
Church (worship for children); the Charis Café; four church bands
(Rejoice!, Emmaus, Splintered, and Immersion); and, most recently,

Kathy Dinkfelt is a graduate of Clarion University and
has worked for Mon Valley Initiative (which oversees the
work of the local Community Development Corporations in
the Mon Valley). She co-founded Skills for Life for Youth,
a not for profit 501c3, whose purpose it is to minister to
the at risk youth of East Pittsburgh. She is currently
serving as the administrative assistant for SLY and for all
of our children's and youth programming. You may

Rick Dinkfelt is the director of Skills for Life for Youth and is
responsible for its day to day operation. Rick is also the lead
